How winners are picked

Commit, then reveal

Nobody picks the winner — not the server, not you, not the house. The outcome falls out of a commit-reveal: seeds are locked in first as hashes, then revealed. Because every seed is committed before any is revealed, the result can’t be nudged once it’s in motion.

  1. 01Server commitsBefore the race, the server picks a secret seed and publishes only its hash on-chain — a sealed envelope nobody can peek inside.
  2. 02Players commitAs each player joins, their own seed is committed on-chain too — locked in before anyone knows the server’s.
  3. 03RevealWhen the race settles, the server reveals its seed. The result is derived from every seed combined — and the revealed seed must match the hash from step one.
  4. 04No steeringBecause the hash was locked first, nobody — not even the house — can swap the seed to change who wins after the fact.
1v1 — a coin flipThe combined seeds pick one of the two memes, each with an equal shot.
Party — a shuffleThe combined seeds shuffle the whole field into a fair, random finishing order.

The race you watch is a replay of that result, not the thing that decides it. The finish is settled before the first stride.

Each race takes a small cut of the stake — between 1.5%–2.75% depending on stake size, with bigger stakes charged the smaller percentage. Holding $RUN gives you bonuses based on your stake: your tier hands you a bonus on the fee, every race.
